YIEDL: Hackers hacked the new Y-Bull vault on BSC, worth about $300,000
Golden Finance reported that YIEDL released an update note on the X platform about the hacker attack. YIEDL said, a. Hackers attacked the new Y-Bull vault on BSC, worth about $300,000; b. All SCs are extensively audited and tested by third parties before release, but the attacker exploited a vulnerability in the BSC integrated SC, which allows the redemption of small funds; this has been done many times by custom malicious SCs; unfortunately, the vulnerability was not discovered during the audit phase; c. We are tracking the flow of stolen funds to the destination wallet and are looking for partial/full recovery solutions; d. The incident has been reported to the Singapore authorities; e. One of the attacker's wallets received funds from the address starting with 0x975d9B. Multiple security teams emphasized to us that the address belongs to the ChangeNow cryptocurrency exchange. We contacted them to obtain detailed information about the attacker. According to PeckShield monitoring yesterday, YIEDL (AI-driven Vaults project) was attacked and lost about $160,000.
