Prem Labs, a newly founded AI company by SingularityNET co-founder Simone Giacomelli, has closed a $14 million seed round of funding from investors including David Maisel, founder of Marvel Studios, Fan Zhang, co-founder of Sequoia Capital China, and Alan Lipschitz, founder of Incubeta. David Maisel has been named to the advisory board of Prem Labs, which is dedicated to democratizing AI models so that companies and individuals can train, deploy and own their own AI models. Simone Giacomelli served as co-founder of SingularityNET from June 2017 to June 2019, according to Linkedin.
