The trading volume of cryptocurrency in Indonesia surged in February, reaching 1.92 billion US dollars
According to Indonesia's cryptocurrency regulatory agency, the country's cryptocurrency trading volume surged in February, reaching 300 trillion Indonesian Rupiah ($1.92 billion). The Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency Bappebti stated that the number of registered cryptocurrency investors in the country also reached 19 million last month, an increase of 170,000 users from January. Bappebti attributes this growth to the soaring price of Bitcoin and the positive market sentiment driven by the rise of altcoins.
