Metis launches alpha version of decentralized sorter
Ethereum Layer2 network Metis has launched its decentralized sequencer Alpha version. Sequencer nodes will receive METIS rewards to incentivize their participation in block generation and transaction processing on the network. In the first year, all sequencer nodes will have a 20% mining reward rate.The Metis development team has stated that this will be the first Ethereum Rollup to support decentralized sequencers.
