According to official news, the Bitcoin network's native asset data parsing protocol Merlin Protocol announced a brand upgrade and officially changed its name to TerpLayer, launching a new official website. TerpLayer is committed to providing high-security and scalable decentralized data access services for developers in the Bitcoin ecosystem through modular smart contracts, specialized node networks, and universal governance mechanisms. To this end, TerpLayer has launched two innovative products: Terp Indexer Oracle and the decentralized BRC20 asset cross-chain transfer solution - Terp BRC20 Adapter. These help developers quickly implement bidirectional data communication between Bitcoin L1 and L2 layers, providing data support for applications such as Bitcoin Layer2 protocols, smart contract virtual machines, Oracles, cross-chain bridges etc.
