The proposal to change Uniswap fees was rejected and does not affect the dividend proposal
According to the Snapshot governance page, the "Uniswap V3 Fees: Factory Owner Amendment" proposal initiated by Uniswap community users was not passed with a 59.89% opposition rate. The proposal aimed to introduce an amendment that would allow future changes to be made to the fee mechanism by the owner of Uniswap V3 Factory.
The host of Bemore Community, Super Jun, stated that the above proposal is not important as the crucial proposal (dividend proposal temperature test) has already been approved. There will be further on-chain proposals in the future.
"Lurker Bat," who deeply engages in Uniswap governance, mentioned that today's rejected proposal was put forward by abdullahbumar, Head of Governance at Michigan Blockchain University. The more radical design poses greater long-term risks for Uniswap Foundation and A16Z, creating too much uncertainty for large token holders.
