Institution: The Federal Reserve may have reason to believe it can cut interest rates in May or June
Dakota Wealth's senior investment portfolio manager Robert Pavlick said that inflation still exists but is slowing down. Following the CPI and PPI data, the PCE data did not show as high of an increase as people feared. It is not a dramatic decrease, but inflation is moving in the right direction, which gives investors some confidence in entering the stock market. This may give the Federal Reserve reason to believe that they could cut interest rates in May or June.
