Stellar mainnet will be upgraded to Protocol 20

Stellar blockchain announced that network validators have voted to support the upgrade of the mainnet to Protocol 20, which will usher in a new era of Stellar smart contract technology stack. This stack provides a secure, battery-included developer experience designed for scalability and real-world use.The team stated that validators plan to gradually increase the Soroban transaction limit to reach full capacity. As the transaction limit increases, Stellar will enter the first phase, where over 160 builders and projects on the testnet will begin to deploy on the mainnet. Once the projects are deployed and the network undergoes stress testing, dApps will launch for everyone to use.
