On 14 April, the Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crimes Unit of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has launched an investigation into crypto custodian bank Anchorage Digital Bank, Barron's reported. The company is backed by Wall Street capital and has publicly supported Trump's policies in the digital asset space. The investigation focuses on its compliance and financial trading practices, details of which have not yet been made public.
