Cosmos tests IBC protocol connection with Ethereum, enhancing cross-chain interoperability
The Cosmos development team is testing the extension of the Inter-Blockchain Communication protocol (IBC) to Ethereum, in order to enhance interoperability between blockchains. Co-CEO of Interchain Labs, Maghnus Mareneck, stated that the team has successfully completed IBC transaction tests from Cosmos Hub to Ethereum. This is part of the upcoming Eureka upgrade for IBC and is planned to be launched in IBC-go v10.
