SlowMist Cosine: Infected users should transfer wallet funds in time and disinfect backup files
SlowMist founder Yu Xi released a guide to deal with computer virus issues and supplemented it in the Chinese version of the black manual. He pointed out that hacker organizations often induce users to install malicious software or run malicious code through social engineering, such as pretending to be investors, journalists, or HR to induce meeting software, or disguising Telegram and Cloudflare verification requests to run malicious code.
Yu Xi suggested that infected users take the following measures in a timely manner: transfer wallet funds, change important account passwords and check for unknown device logins, use well-known antivirus software to kill viruses, reset the computer if necessary, and virus scan backup files. He emphasized that these attacks are not only targeting Windows, but also include Mac and some Linux systems.
