Fed Announces Preliminary Schedule of FOMC Meetings Through January 2027
The Federal Reserve on Friday announced a tentative schedule of Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meetings for January 2025, 2026, and 2027.The FOMC will hold eight meetings per year. The Fed is sticking to its traditional schedule of eight meetings per year.The FOMC statement will be released on the second day of the meeting at 2:00 p.m. ET, followed by a press conference by the Fed chairman at 2:30 p.m. The FOMC statement will be released on the second day of the meeting at 2:30 p.m. ET.
