Analyst: The large-scale capital outflow from Grayscale Ethereum ETF may subside this week
Mads Eberhardt, Senior Analyst at Steno Research, stated that the massive outflows from Grayscale Ethereum ETF may subside this week. Mads Eberhardt pointed out that referring to the previous Grayscale Bitcoin ETF, its fund outflows significantly decreased after the 11th trading day. Since the fund outflow of Grayscale Ethereum ETF is much higher relative to AUM (Assets Under Management), therefore, the peak of fund outflows will appear sometime this week and once past this peak, fund outflows may slow down. Mads Eberhardt added that Bitcoin ETF's funds hit bottom on the seventh trading day when GBTC's cumulative fund outflow reached 13.2% of the original fund; afterwards, Bitcoin prices rose about 92% within 50 days. In contrast, Grayscale Ethereum ETF's funds are flowing out much faster than GBTC’s - reaching 17.3% in just four days - and ETH price has a smaller overall.
