QCP Capital Analyst: Ethereum options implied volatility is higher than Bitcoin, possibly a reaction to the upcoming launch of Ethereum spot ETF
Analysts at QCP Capital stated that the implied volatility (IV) of Ethereum options is currently higher than Bitcoin, indicating traders expect an increase in price fluctuations for Ethereum. This could be a response to the upcoming launch of Ethereum spot ETFs. The analysts further stated: "As the market awaits new demand from spot Ethereum ETFs, bullish sentiment may continue. The options market will definitely reflect this, with Ethereum trading volume (IV) still 15% higher than Bitcoin's."
