Despite trailing the market, IDEX delivered a notable boost on October 29, 2025, when its stock surged 3.9% intraday following the release of its third-quarter fiscal 2025 results. The company reported revenue of $878.7 million for the quarter, a 10.1% year-over-year increase and ahead of analyst expectations of $861.1 million. Adjusted EPS climbed 6.8% to $2.03, beating the consensus estimate of $1.93.

Management credited this strong performance to growth in Health & Science Technologies and robust demand from sectors such as data centers, municipal water infrastructure, and pharmaceuticals. CEO Eric Ashleman highlighted the company’s “8020 philosophy,” which has improved operational efficiency, accelerated the integration of acquisitions, and enhanced contributions from material science and smart water initiatives.

Analyst Ratings and Price Targets

Given these solid fundamentals, Wall Street maintains a “Moderate Buy” consensus for IDEX shares, a rating that has remained stable over the past quarter. Out of 12 analysts, six recommend a “Strong Buy,” one suggests a “Moderate Buy,” and five rate the stock as “Hold.”

The average price target stands at $192.27, indicating a potential upside of 6.3%. The highest target among analysts is $210, which would represent a 16.2% increase from current levels.
