PANews, December 29 – At the opening of the US stock market, the Dow Jones fell by 0.19%, the S&P 500 Index dropped by 0.43%, and the Nasdaq declined by 0.75%. Precious metal prices plunged sharply during the day, and mining stocks generally opened lower. Blockchain concept stocks showed mixed performance, with CRCL (Circle) up about 1.7%; MSTR (Strategy) up about 2%; and a certain exchange up about 1%.
