ClearToken Receives FCA Approval to Launch Digital Asset Settlement Platform CT Settle
Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) of the UK has approved the London company ClearToken to launch the regulated digital asset settlement platform CT Settle, which will adopt a Delivery versus Payment (DvP) mechanism, supporting institutions to settle transactions simultaneously in cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and fiat currencies. It is reported that this regulatory approval grants ClearToken the dual status of "Authorized Payment Institution" and "Cryptocurrency Registration Entity", and the company plans to further expand into centralized clearing and margin services through the Bank of England's "Digital Securities Sandbox".
