Donut completes two funding rounds totaling $22 million within six months of its founding and launches the world’s first smart crypto browser for traders.
ChainCatcher reported that Donut Labs announced it has completed a total of $22 million in Pre-Seed and Seed round financing within six months of its establishment. The rounds were led by Sequoia China, BITKRAFT, Makers Fund, Sky9 Capital, MPCi, Altos Ventures, Hack VC, and supported by ecosystem leaders from Solana, Sui, Monad, as well as core members from teams such as Jupiter, Drift, and Manifold Trading. The funds will be used to build the Donut Browser, an AI agentic browser designed specifically for trading.
Donut Labs stated that the company has already received over 160,000 waitlist sign-ups in its first quarter. Donut completes signal discovery, risk assessment, strategy generation, and on-chain execution within the browser through multi-model orchestration and a real-time feedback loop. Its product matrix covers Chrome extensions, web, mobile, and a full browser based on Chromium. CEO Chris Zhu said that Donut aims to bring a “personal AI quant in the browser” to every trader, reshaping the way users interact with the financial internet.
