from January to September 2025, the Ethereum ecosystem led all public chain platforms in the number of new developers, attracting 16,181 new developers. Solana ranked second with 11,534 developers, and Bitcoin ranked third with 7,494 developers. In addition, Polygon added 3,681 developers, Stacks added 3,246, and Sui added 3,179.
In terms of total active developers, Ethereum also maintains a leading position with 31,869 active developers, Solana ranked second with 17,708, and Bitcoin ranked third with 11,036. Polygon has 6,411 active developers, Sui has 4,807, BNB Chain has 4,073, and Polkadot Network has 4,062.
